Looks like there are some issues with the new World of Warcraft 2.3 patch ( at least in Europe that is).
The Tech Support Forums are alive with issues ranging from low frames per second issues to disconnect issues.
I personally have experienced 2 of the issues-
- You cannot switch realms without the game exiting ( I wouldn’t say crashing….it just stops)
- After the patch is installed you are asked to agree to the TOS / EULA and asked again…..and again and again (and after a restart of the client)
All this (I think) points to a problem with the config.wtf file and perhaps the wow client cannot access the file and therefore shutdown down.
There is a little workaround which I guessed would fix this – that is to update the config.wtc file yourself (to the realm you want to access) – but its not ideal.
Hopefully in a few days the devs will have a patch for this and the other issues that players are facing.
